Change is in the air

Well the letter came and Allison got into Orange County High School of the Arts - production & design conservatory. We are so happy for her. It is a great school and she will grow so much. There is a certain amount of fundraising we must do so if you want to help then just send me an email.

The other kids are all plugging along and growing and changing. I am in a growth process myself. I am excited to work with buisnesses to grow them.

I have been thinking lately that I like helping people. I like doing things for others but I also need to do things for me. So I am on the hunt to find things to improve me. I am going to be joining Shauna on the 30 challenge with Visalus. I also have recommitted to working out and putting my health first. I am important also.

If you are on LinkedIn, please look for me and connect with me. I am always looking for great professional contacts.

All for now,
Rebecca Robinson

April already

I cannot believe that it is April already. My oldest child becomes a teenager. I cannot believe it. The time has flown by. I mean it seems like yesterday that she was so little. I guess it means that I am getting older....oh no!!!

The other children are all enjoying spring break but I cannot say the same for me.
The play was great and the costumes looked fabulous. My sister came the other day and helped me clean the house. I will be singing her praises forever. This was of course after our fun visit to the San Luis Rey de Francia mission. Such a beautiful place. It is located in Oceanside and is so serene. They actually use parts of it for retreats and still have regular worship services there. Also we learned that the movie Zorro was filmed there. Although I think the fourth grade mission project is lame sometimes we definitely had fun learning about the mission's history.

So I hae survived week one of Spring Break and am looking forward to a calmer 2nd week. The OCHSA letters come out starting this weekend. We are praying extra hard that Allison will get in.

I helped a friend of mine clean her house when she was moving and we had so much fun. I am so glad that I was able to be there for her. My question is why people tend not to help each other out anymore? I mean in older times you knew your neighbors and helped them rather than just complaining about them. Does anyone think it is possible to go back to that kind of a time?

So till next time keep on connecting.

Rebecca
