Happy Birthday Matt

It was Matt's Birthday on Thurday so we went to Disneyland. Matt, Alicia, & I had a blast riding rides, seeing parades, and shows. Matt & I now have annual passes and Alicia of course is still free. We had lots of fun just riding rides and they got to check out CA adventure for the first time. They also got to dance in the parade.
It was a great day and I am so glad that I was able ot spend the time with my little ones. They are growing so fast. I can't believe that my little boy is 5 already.

Write more soon,

Everyone back at home

Well,

They are all coming back today and it is good. I have enjoyed my peace and quiet but I do love those four kids. I also know that Paula has decided she would rather not have four children.(HAHAHA)

We go pick up Allison's school schedule on Thursday and then they all start back to school on August 20th. It will be here before we know it.

I am planning a celebration for Teresa on Aug 10th. A few friends are meeting us at the La Mirada Aquatics center to enjoy water slides and swimming. It is really affordable and fun for multiple ages. Not very much for older teens but for 12 and under it will prove to be a fun day. Picnic lunch and a birthday cake will finish off the celebration. If anyone else wants to join us call me and I will tell you where it is at. I will post pics after the event also.

I recovered a chair that I got awhile ago from the salvation army and it looks so beautiful. Anyone that can remember my blue sewing chair will be amazed at the new chair. I have posted a before and after photo. Sorry the before photo really isn't very good and basically the fabric had completely work away and the padding was beig moved around and played with by all my children.

I hope that life is going well for everyone else and I will post again soon.

Love ya lots,
Rebecca

All settled In

Well everyone,

Long time no updates but we are all settled in our new Orange County Home. I miss lots of wonderful friends and I am attempting to downsize before I ever have to move again. Still some boxes to unpack but nothing of real importance so it may get thrown out. We found out that his place is actually bigger than the house in Corona and we were surprised.

Life goes on though. Allie & Teresa are visiting their grandparents in Utah. Matt & Alicia are not quite ready for that adventure. We have visitied the library many times for storytime and we have visited many playlands to see which ones are the best.

Matt is teaching himself to swim and is actually doing really well. He loves his goggles and swims like a fish. I try to go to the pool often so he can practice. He knows his limitations though and doesn't go any deeper than he is comfortable.

Alicia likes to play in the water and mostly likes to ride on my back in the pool.

I started working on the Savior of the World costumes. It is going to be a great play I am so excited that I get to learn and be a part of telling the story of Christ's birth and ressurection. It is going to be such a spiritually growing experience.

Don't really have the awesome neighbors here that we had in Corona and boy do we miss you guys. The next door neighbors are interesting and Matt has made friends with the little boy Preston who is 6. Other than that we have met a few neighbors but no one talks to anyone else on the street probably because you never know who speaks engish and who doesn't. The Duplex hooked to ours is up for rent so Iwould love to find someone cool to rent it that I could hang out with.

The new airport is interesting and I have made some cool friends there. I am grateful for the new expeiences and growth potential that they have there.

Overall I am enjoying the transition but I am kinda lonely sometimes so I am looking for park playgroups or a MOPS group to join in the fall when the kids go back to school. I figure though it is good because I have lots of projects to do and I am back working out daily to continue on my weightloss journey.

I am eagerly looking forward to my trip to Italy. I am going to get the ball rolling on the passport and start planning when I am going to go. Maybe during Spring Break for the kids.

Oh well that is all my ramblings for now. I will try to not let so much time pass in between entries in the future.

Love ya lots,
Rebecca

Tomorrow starts the adventure...

Hey everyone,

Tomorrow we get the keys to the new house in Orange. We are all very excited. We have been packing like crazy and hopefully the move will go very smoothly.

Allison is excited about Girls camp. It will be her first time and sucha great experience for her. She had a Car wash and Bake sale fundraiser on Saturday to earn the money for camp. She still need to earn more but we will also help her with a portion of it.

Teresa is looking forward to a relaxing summer but she is going to do some additional work on math facts and reading. I just haven't told her this yet(haha).

Matthew starts his summer school program tomorrow so for the next 5 weeks he will get a sneak peek at life as a Kindergartener. He is excited but it will be the unknown so it will also be an adventure and challenge for him.

Alicia is just cruising along as usual. She has been singing the Peanut Butter and Jelly song today and it is really cute(Thanks Heather for introducing us to the song).

Anyone that would like our new address please send me an email and I will email the address and phone number to you.

I am having lots of fun adjusting to the Long Beach airport and all the differences. who knew that such a little airport would provide me so many things to learn.

Jim is just itching to not have to commute anymore and says that he will get 7 hours of his life back each week. We will have to find a constructive way for him to spend those 7 hours.

We love you all,

Moving right along

Well everyone,

Big happenings inthe Robinson Casa. We were approved for the rental house that we found in Orange. We will soon be living back in the OC. Yeah:)

With my transfer to the Long Beach airport effective on June 7th and Jim still working in Irvine this moves makes soo much sense finacially. We will not have to commute very far to work.

The kids are kinda sad to be moving away from friends but they also are looking forward to this new adventure.

The 10th is Allison, Teresa, & Matt's last day of school. We are so happy that they have done so well this year. Allison has had straight A's basically all year. Teresa has increased her reading ability and is excelling at math. Matthew's speech has developed to the point at which he is almost within the normal range. Alicia is her silly little self. She loves to sing and if you travel in the car with her you are sure to hear her whole repitoire of songs.

As we look toward the changes in our lives and the different situations that we are all entering we just want everyone of our current friends to know how much we love them and that we are so grateful for their love and support. So to each person that has been a part of our lives during the last 5 years while we have lived in Corona, you will forever be be part of our hearts and we will think and keep in touch with you often. Please also keep in touch with us.

That is it for now I will be sending out new address postcards at some point.

Love ya all,

Robinson clan

The Latest

Hello,

Well all is well in the Robinson Casa. We are moving forward.

Allison graduated from Primary at church and turned 12. Scary. She is officially a Young Woman.

Teresa keeps injuring herself. We think she needs to be more careful.

Matt is going on a field trip next week with his preschool class. He also gets the idea during the middle of church that he is going home and went so far as to pack up my dad's church books and try to pull him out during class. I guess he can only wear a tie for so long.

Alicia's nose has healed nicely and now we are wearing panties and trying to use the potty. Hopefully it catches on quickly. She insisted on getting new dora sandals & a dora shirt yesterday at Walmart. She is too young to start shopping for herself. It was really cute though.

Jim is surviving a hurt toe. The sliding screen door fell on it. Yesterday it finally stopped hurting while he was walking around.

I have started my new shift and I like it. I love to be busy and we are swamped for most of the morning. The only thing is that I need to go to bed earlier. 2:30 am wakeup time comes really fast if I don't go to bed till 9 pm. Oh well I will try to go to bed earlier. I have also lost 20 inches in the last two months it is always measuring time again so hopefully all this work on diet and at the gym pays off.

Love,
Rebecca
